I have lived in Sierra Vista since 1988 and have been actively involved in the community. I am married to Iwona, and the proud father of four children.

Before launching a career in real estate, my lengthy background in sales and management in Sierra Vista prepared me for my real estate career. First with Kinney Shoes as a manager for 9 years and 13 years with Famous Sam's Sports Grill in several positions including District Manager and Director of Human Resources. In addition to my business skills and experience, I have been a primary home buyer and seller 10 times, and we have also bought and sold investment property and vacation properties becoming a landlord for the first time when I was 23 years old.

I became such a proponent of homeownership that I felt people were crazy not to own real estate as either a primary residence or as an investor. When I entered the industry, and to this day, the two niches I specialize are working with first-time homebuyers and investors. So I understand the issues you have to deal with as a buyer and seller from the consumer standpoint. Plus I have had to deal with having more than one home at a time due to not being able to sell, having bought a new home before selling the old, and having been a landlord, knowledge and experiences which I find benefit my clients.

I am currently an Associate Broker at Sierra Vista Realty. I am on the Board of Directors for the Greater Sierra Vista Area Chamber of Commerce ,  I served as a commissioner on the City of Sierra Vista Planning and Zoning Commission;  I am a 2009 Graduate of "Leadership Sierra Vista" and now Chair the "Leadership Sierra Vista" committee; I am a Real Estate Instructor with Southeast Arizona School Of Real Estate and  and I am an active member of the Sierra Vista Executive Association. I have proudly coached little league, Youth Soccer and Basketball for many years and cofounded the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation that raised money to pay for youth sports scholarships in Cochise County. In 2008 I started a weekly real estate radio show on KTAN 1420am called Open House that focused on local real estate issues and home ownership tips and advice and it airs every Saturday morning.

WHY DID I BECOME A REALTOR?

After the purchase of my first home I realized, I had no clue what I was doing. REALTORS and lenders seemed to speak a foreign language. I considered myself at least reasonably intelligent (although my wife would beg to differ at times), so I was frustrated by my ignorance of real estate. I became intrigued by the entire home buying process, so I began reading real estate related books. Always interested in architecture, homes, and landscaping, my passion for real estate has grown over the years as a real estate investor with buying, selling and renting a number of properties until I decided to pursue a full-time career in real estate and enrolled in a real estate licensing course. I work as a real estate professional because I have a genuine passion for real estate and for assisting people who are in the midst of a hugely important and complicated process.

Being a Sierra Vista REALTOR is my passion. I love assisting in the sale and purchase of properties. I love counseling my clients and seeing "The Light" go on when they get it.
