“Open House” is a radio show dedicated entirely to the subject of Sierra Vista and Cochise County real estate. My name is Brad Snyder and I'm a Realtor at Haymore Real Estate and I host the show. This program has been designed to bring you news and information you can use. Each week we will have guest experts including realtors, appraisers, remodelers, and many others talking about what they know best and answering your questions and concerns. My goal is to inspire, empower, and enlighten as we discuss issues that effect homeownership and yes….we will even talk about this weekends open houses.

(02/23/08) You probably don’t like to think about crime, but in even in a great community like Sierra Vista, crime is a fact of life and as our community has grown, we have seen am increases in burglaries, violence and gang activity in Sierra Vista. Our police department has been working hard to keep our community safe in those efforts they have a new community resource officer. Officer Scott Borgstadt has recently become a key part of the Sierra Vista Police Departments proactive approach to crime prevention and community relations. Among his duties is to get information to homeowners about how to avoid becoming home invasion victims. I am very excited today to have Officer Scott Borgsdtadt in the studio today to discuss his new role and to discuss some home safety and security tips.
